His Jail Break Saved His Life! - Fargo the Steer Rescued from Slaughter after His ‘Mad Dash for Freedom’
Those who, by their purchases, require animals to be killed have no right to be shielded from the slaughterhouse or any other aspect of the production of the meat they buy. If it is distasteful for humans to think about, what can it be like for the animals to experience it?… Animal factories are one more sign of the extent to which our technological capacities have advanced faster than our ethics. ~ Americans For Morality.
These wild horses have been rounded up by the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and are being held at their Rock Springs facility in Wyoming. In a complete healthy habitat the horses find shelter from freezing winds and precipitation in gulleys or amid thick trees. They have an exquisite sense of where it is warmer. In the wild, their ability to move freely about helps generate warmth. But in these camps they are hard pressed to maintain sufficient body temperatures to stay alive.

"Most people who eat animals are not sadists. Most people don’t enjoy causing suffering and death, yet they still eat the products of violence. Going vegan is bringing your actions into alignment with your values. After all, if you wouldn’t kill another being yourself, why pay someone else to do it? Could you pull the trigger or slash the knife?
Most people couldn’t because they are compassionate. If you couldn’t, please consider ending your support of the industries that do it. Remove your hand from this picture because the person who pays for it is the person who directs the slaughter.”
